Steward's Report
Surf Rescue was slow out. Secret Remedy and Swanky Intent collided soon after start. Spikey Assassin crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Kerbmeister and Paddy Cameron severely checking Mishana which checked Surf Rescue as a result. Secret Remedy faltered entering the back straight and tailed off. Mishana tailed off in the back straight. Paddy Cameron raced wide on the home turn checking Surf Rescue. Paddy Cameron and Surf Rescue collided entering the home straight.
Mishana was vetted following the event it was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Secret Remedy was vetted and re vetted after race 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a lefthind quarters (hip) injury, a 14 day stand down was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Edwards, the trainer of the greyhound Mishana. Stewards deemed the performance of Mishana unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 101, Stewards directed that Mishana must perform a Satisfactory Trial(all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
