Santa Baby was slow out. Valletta Rose and Why Not Jess collided soon after the start. Angie's Den and Bonnie Jones collided at the 300mtr mark. Santa Baby and Lil La Wishes collided at the 300mtr mark. Intent On Gold, Valletta Rose and Why Not Jess collided at the 200mtr mark. Santa Baby, Angie's Den, Bonnie Jones and Why Not Jess collided at the 150mtr mark. Intent On Gold and Valletta Rose collided several times at the 50mtr mark. Angie's Den checked off the heels of Santa Baby at the 50mtr mark. Intent On Gold and Valletta Rose collided approaching the winning post.
Intent On Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found, no stand down penalty was applied.
