Steward's Report
I'm Not Suzie and Run Away Darky were slow out, Arvo's Pricilla,Sir Tristen,Yo Rinny and Run Away Darky collided soon after the start. Multi Grip checked off the heels of Lemnos Road approaching the first turn. Lemnos Road and Yo Rinny collided on the first turn. Arvo's Pricilla and Dad Said collided on the first turn checking Run Away Darky. Multi Grip raced wide on the first turn. Yo Rinny and Dad Said collided approaching the second turn. Multi Grip checked off the heels of Lemnos Road on the third turn. Lemnos Road eased approaching the winning post.
Lemnos Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injury left hind triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under rule GAR 98(1)(d) the stewards charged Lemnos Road with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, before any future nomination will be accepted.
