Superb Special, Grassy Knoll and Another Nobody were slow out. Cheque Mate, Grassy Knoll and Another Nobody collided soon after the start. Grassy Knoll and Another Nobody collided at the 200mtr mark checking both greyhounds. Grassy Knoll checked off the heels of Cheque Mate at the 150mtr mark.
