Jacked and Paulson were slow to begin. Paulson checked off Ashwood Flyer soon after the start. Paddy Bear, Where's Trixie and Miss Control collided approaching the first turn, checking Paddy Bear. Dusty Shekels, Where's Trixie and Miss Control collided on the first turn, checking Dusty Shekels. Paddy Bear and Magic's In Me collided on the first turn, checking Paddy Bear and severely checking Magic's In Me and Jacked. Ashwood Flyer galloped on Dusty Shekels entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Paulson was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
