Steward's Report
Mac's Tiger was slow to begin. Sunnyside Blue crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Lord Flood and severely checking Mac's Tiger, Cyclone Marley, Geisha Angel and Voss Girl. Geisha Angel checked off Where's Anton on the first turn, checking Lord Flood. Mac's Tiger stumbled and fell approaching the home turn, severely checking Mel's Razor. Mel's Razor and Geisha Angel collided on the home turn. Sunnyside Blue marred Where's Anton approaching the winning post.
Mel's Razor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Mac's Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Sunnyside Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) Stewards charged Sunnyside Blue with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
