A pre race sample was taken from Ima Shoopa Star.
Ima Shoopa Star was slow to begin. No More Express and Dominco Bale collided soon after the start. Waratah View and Perfect Five collided approaching the first turn. Ima Shoopa Star and No More Express collided on the first turn checking Ima Shoopa Star. Waratah View and Perfect Five collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Ima Shoopa Star raced wide entering the home straight.
Perfect Rio was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
