Pure Maganda checked off Ooralee Lass on the first turn checking Zacariah and Westmead Oak. Whammy and Ooralee Lass collided on the first turn. Mr.Nitti checked off Boppin' Dazzler approaching the home turn. Whammy checked off Barefoot Days approaching the home turn checking Ooralee Lass and severely checking Boppin' Dazzler. Zacariah checked off Ooralee Lass on the home turn, Zacariah and Pure Maganda collided as a result. Boppin' Dazzler eased approaching the winning post. Boppin' Dazzler was vetted following the event and revetted following race four. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and right thigh muscle, a 7 stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Boppin' Dazzler with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
