Railway Mitch and From Davine collided in the home straight. Clovalley Butch eased in the home straight and collided with Railway Mitch. Lillipilli Lady eased approaching the winning post and collided with Clovalley Mick. Clovalley Butch was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to left tricep and left triangle soreness, a 10 stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Clovalley Butch with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted. Lillipilli Lady was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left triangle ant tricep soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Carr, the trainer of the greyhound Lillipilli Lady. Stewards deemed the performance of Lillipilli Lady unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Lillipilli Lady must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards issued a warning to Ms. D. Carr, the trainer of Lillipilli Lady regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
