A pre race sample was taken from Vans Turbo.
Double Rainbow, Aston Ignite and Crymelon Libby were slow to begin.
Tinker Jane underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have minor wounds to the right hind foot. A zero days stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Mark Mark Giddings regarding Tinker Jane's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125,Tinker Jane was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Mark Giddings pled guilty to the charge, Tinker Jane was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
