An out of competition sample was taken from Bamera on 23 May 2024, pursuant to GAR 139.
A pre-race sample was taken from Coconut Santiago.
Press Start, Narcissus and Coconut Santiago were quick to begin.

In accordance with LR 40.2, Mr. S. Kemp was issued with a warning regarding non–compliance with the GRV Dress Standards.
Satisfactory Trial:
Wow How's That – Marring – Field of 4, Distance: 390m, Weight: 32.2kg, Box 1, Placed: Pulled up – Comment: Not Cleared - Visibly eased and pulled up in the home straight.
Wow How's That (visibly eased and pulled up in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Fireproofed – Fail To Pursue – Field of 4, Distance: 390m, Weight: 27.5kg, Box 3, Placed: Pulled up – Comment: Not Cleared - Visibly eased and pulled up in the home straight.
