Catch Some Rays contacted the running rail approaching the first and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Mr. President - the winner of the event. 

Valencia Tilly was quick to begin. Western Feel and Smooth Collinda were slow to begin. 

Piper's Brook Marred Valencia Tilly on the first turn and again on the home turn. Stewards spoke to Mr Leslie Hughes regarding Piper's Brook’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Piper's Brook was charged with marring. Mr Hughes pled guilty to the charge, Mr Hughes declined the option to have the greyhound vetted. Piper's Brook was found guilty and suspended for 28 days all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Valencia Tilly was severely checked throughout the event and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Dennis Kipruto – Late scratching at 11:18 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to an eye laceration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bekere was quick to begin. Rhyme Dust and Dr. Kenneth were slow to begin. 

Bear Hand and Collinda Rise were quick to begin. 

The splits and finish time for this event were hand timed. 

A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Eden's Gift, a post–race sample was subsequently taken. 

Gaslight Capers was slow to begin. 

Jumbuk Star contacted the running rail turning into the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left stifle laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Swanky Ryker faltered and lost ground turning into the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right long head triceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Green Can Lad was quick to begin. Jenna and Zipping Bowie were slow to begin. 

Braemar Audrey lost ground approaching the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Neena Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Martin Taylor regarding the racing manners of Neena Bale in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Taylor, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Akina Adonis – Late scratching at 11:26 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Phillip Rowley informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Rowley that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. The 28 day stand down was removed from Akina Adonis following the production of evidence, to the satisfaction of the Stewards. 

Full Glamour – Late scratching at 13:31 due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start of this event was aborted and deemed a false start due to a delay in the removal of collars when boxing the first row. Dusty Old Road, Connor Man and Moraine Tom were removed from the starting boxes, vetted by the on-track Veterinarian and passed fit to race in accordance with GAR 110 (7). The race was delayed by approximately 3 minutes whilst this occurred. The race then commenced at 1:40.

Charlotte's Hand was quick to begin. 

Stewards spoke to the starter and emphasised the importance of ensuring that all leads and collars are removed prior to boxing greyhounds.

A post-race sample was taken from Moraine Tom - placed 4th in the event.

Our Lulu was quick to begin. 

Be Graceful was quick to begin. Little Fast Bull and Dr. Narnia were slow to begin. 

A post-race sample was taken from Below The Curve - the winner of the event. 

Super Turtle – New declared weight of 27.6kg, last raced at 28.9kg.

Be Little was quick to begin. Finley Bale was slow to begin. 

Fascinate Debra was slow to begin. 

Al's My Mate faltered and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and right triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Be Yourself was quick to begin. Majestic Bale and On The Mint were slow to begin. 

Miss Haylee lost ground on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Colin Whitford regarding Miss Haylee overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Whitford to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Miss Haylee in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Following the event Dr. Rodrigo displayed mild signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS). As a result, the greyhound underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be displaying clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria. A 3 day stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gill, the trainer of Dr. Rodrigo and advised her that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future starts. 

It was noted that the muzzle of River Matt becamepartially dislodged during the running of the event.
