Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Junior Ruslie on 29 February 2024 pursuant to GAR 139.
A pre–race sample was taken from - Bissuoma.
Misty Mia and Boggy Dozer were quick to begin.
Misty Mia - checked, and lost ground first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured toe on the right hind foot. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Meek - racing manners home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms A Drew regarding the racing manners of Aston Meek in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms A Drew, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
