Too Much Trifle – Late scratching at 3:16pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left hind infection. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Brave Lad and Aston Sundance were quick to begin.
Brave Lad (severely checked and lost ground on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back mucsle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Beyond Belief (severely checked on the first turn and subsequently fell), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
