A pre-race sample was taken from Gucci Green.
Aston Daisy, La La Missouri and Style Key were quick to begin. Cindy's Kyle was slow to begin.
Gucci Green (was checked and tailed off turning out of the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left bicep injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Blue Bale proved awkward to box. Connections advised that a different handler will handle Blue Bale at future starts. Stewards were satisfied with this course of action.
