Steward's Report
Aberdeen Grange – Late scratching at 1:15pm when Trainer Peter Grills reported the greyhound to have abrasions (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Destini Spitfire.
Olivia Express and Riku were quick to begin. Majestic Bale, Jolly Johnny and Destini Sptifire were slow to begin.
Majestic Bale (faltered and lost ground turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain and a right monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand-down period was imposed.
