Steward's Report
The start time for this event was rescheduled to 8:37pm due to a malfunction with the lure cable after Race 1.
He Throws Bombs went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Spring Millie was slow to begin. Dyna Braniac, Royal Knocka and Grave Digger collided approaching the first turn. Grave Digger checked off Dyna Braniac on the first turn checking He Throws Bombs. Dyna Judas and Who Told Lochie collided approaching the home turn. Johnny Heritage and Royal Knocka collided approaching the home turn checking Royal Knocka and Spring Millie. Dyna Judas galloped on the heels of Royal Knocka on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Grave Digger checked off Royal Knocka in the home straight.
Royal Knocka was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to it's left wrist and hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Kirk regarding the direction that the greyhound Royal Knocka be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
