 An Out of Competition sample was taken from Enry's Surprize engaged in this event on 16 December, pursuant to GAR 79A.

Handi Bandit, Minstrel Prince and Rail Rider were quick to begin.  Where's Salma was slow to begin.  Vulcan Rose and Concentrate collided soon after the start checking Concentrate.  Minstrel Prince crossed to the rail soon after the start, severely checking Handi Bandit and Enry's Surprize.  Futurist crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Handi Bandit, Enry's Surprize and Futurist, severely checking Where's Salma which faltered and tailed off as a result.  Handi Bandit, Rail Rider and Vulcan Rose raced wide on the home turn.

Where's Salma was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

November Ice was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Zimmerman and Queen Elma were slow to begin.  Zatmine and Nikita's Nitro collided on the first turn checking Zatmine.  Wadelock Latte raced wide approaching the home turn.  November Ice raced wide on the home turn.

Dr. Gotcha was quick to begin.  Smiley Girl, Simply Maybe and One Door Shuts were slow to begin.  Dr. Gotcha crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Booberry.  Smiley Girl and Under Speed collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Booberry galloped on the heels of Had It All on the first turn checking Had It All, severely checking Booberry.  Smiley Girl and Under Speed collided approaching the home turn checking Under Speed.  Booberry and One Door Shuts collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  One Door Shuts checked off Simply Maybe approaching the home turn checking Booberry.  Booberry and Simply Maybe raced wide on the home turn.  Smiley Girl and Had It All collided entering the home straight.

Grand Puzzle was quick to begin.  Wood Shed and Bubba's Boy were slow to begin.  Van Ghosting and Won Wron Flyer collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Van Ghosting.  Lacka Detail, Wood Shed and Bubba's Boy collided on the first turn checking Wood Shed and Bubba's Boy.  Van Ghosting and Won Wron Flyer collided on the home turn.  Van Ghosting, Won Wron Flyer and Lacka Detail collided in the home straight checking Won Wron Flyer.

Have A Tinnie was quick to begin.  Secret Colour, Big Mannie, Esperance Bay and Dr. Hamish were slow to begin.  Secret Colour and Dr. Hamish collided on the first turn checking Secret Colour.  She's Exciting and Sammy Jade collided on the first turn, severely checking She's Exciting, checking Big Mannie as a result.  Esperance Bay and Sammy Jade collided on the first turn checking Sammy Jade.  Sammy Jade checked off Esperance Bay approaching the home turn.  Dr. Hamish checked off Sammy Jade on the home turn checking Big Mannie.  Secret Colour and She's Exciting raced wide in the home straight.

Mum's Gem was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sweet Latte was a late scratching at 11.04 a.m.  due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand period was imposed. Trainer Mr T Chatwin was fined the sum of $100.

Dr. Mortisha was quick to begin.  Northern Emma was slow to begin.  Slick Mix and Stealthy Shadow collided on the first turn checking Slick Mix and Northern Emma.  Miss Squibble raced wide on the home turn.

Miss Black Ash and Citizen Jane were quick to begin.  Golden Meleni, Oxygen Bandit and Dr. Zsa Zsa were slow to begin.  Dr. Sanscha and Oxygen Bandit collided soon after the start.  Miss Black Ash, Phil Mieski and Dr. Sanscha collided on the first turn checking Phil Mieski and Dr. Sanscha.  Where's Neo, Golden Meleni and Oxygen Bandit collided on the first turn, severely checking Oxygen Bandit.  Phil Mieski and Dr. Sanscha collided approaching the home turn checking Dr. Sanscha.  Miss Black Ash raced wide on the home turn.

Daintree Puzzle was quick to begin.  Here's Hannibal and Sandy Point were slow to begin.  Here's Hannibal and Playing Tough collided soon after the start.  Bernmar Pete, Playing Tough and Go Hootie collided on the first turn checking Playing Tough, Go Hootie and Kingston Regal.  Here's Hannibal and Daintree Puzzle collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Missy Miss was quick to begin.  Lukey Parker was slow to begin.  Extra Stars, Collekki and Dynamite Maybe collided soon after the start checking Extra Stars and Collekki.  Mohawk Mako and Plaza Boy collided on the first turn checking Lukey Parker, severely checking Mohawk Mako.  Mohawk Mako galloped on the heels of Dynamite Maybe on the first turn checking Collekki, severely checking Extra Stars causing Mohawk Mako and Dynamite Maybe to fall.  Plaza Boy checked off Lulugen approaching the home turn.

Dynamite Maybe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr L Cunningham, Trainer of Brindle Mist redeclared a new weight of 24.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Brindle Mist last raced at 25.8kg.  

Maxi Taxi was quick to begin.  Dr. Robbie and Precipitation were slow to begin.  La Trobe Lass, Inter Sandra, Indianna Belle  collided approaching the first turn checking La Trobe Lass and Indianna Belle.  La Trobe Lass and Indianna Belle collided on the first turn checking La Trobe Lass.  Brindle Mist stayed in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.

Brindle Mist was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr L. Cunningham.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1), Stewards charged Brindle Mist with faiing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Cunningham pleaded guilty to the charge.  Brindle Mist was found guilty and was suspended for 28 days at Warragul Track and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(A)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr P Eastley, Trainer of Star City Roller redeclared a new weight of 32.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Star City Roller last raced at  33.9kg.  

Mrs K Fogarty, Trainer of Betsy Ann redeclared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Betsy Ann last raced at  27.5kg.  

Fun Time Ally was quick to begin.  Streaming was slow to begin.  Rulla Ronaldo galloped on the heels of Maybe Cheap on the first turn checking Southwood Flame, severely checking Rulla Ronaldo, Maybe Cheap, Star City Roller and Betsy Ann; Maybe Cheap lost  ground and tailed off.  Why Not Heather and Streaming collided approaching the home turn.  Why Not Heather raced wide on the home turn.  

Maybe Cheap was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Beljay Belle was a late scratching at 11.38 a.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr A Scott was fined the sum of $100.

Bruree Miss was quick to begin.  Tooradale was slow to begin.  Mr. Crumpet and Yellowrock Flame collided soon after the start.  Pully George, Before Dawn and Miss Lilli Mai collided soon after the start checking Before Dawn and Miss Lilli Mai.  Pully George, Before Dawn and Mr. Crumpet collided on the first turn checking Before Dawn and Mr. Crumpet.  Mr. Crumpet, Yellowrock Flame and Tooradale raced wide on the home turn.
