A pre-race sample was taken from Marriage Over.
Laquita Star, Why Not Lilah, Marriage Over and Speed Line Sally were slow to begin.
Inga Sadie was checked entering the home straight and subsequently lost ground. Inga Sadie underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Marriage Over underwent a post–race veterinary examination after a incident in the catching pen and was found to have a right wrist injury, abrasions to the right calf and a spike wound to the right front foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Empress Blaze was checked in the back straight and again entering the home straight. Empress Balze underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision in the home straight for this event.
