Pursuant to GAR 75(6), starter Mr J. Nicholls did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Urith Bale and Flying Currency were slow to begin.
Our Last Summer was severely checked on the first turn and lost ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury and a spike wound to the right front paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Urith Bale was severely checked on the first turn, faltered and lost ground, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both monkey muscles and both triangle muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Samantha Bradley regarding Urith Bale's overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms. Bradley to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Urith Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
