An Out Of Competition Sample was taken from My Bro Fabio, engaged in this event on 15 November, pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hawk Alone.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mepunga Hayley.
My Bro Fabio, Mepunga Armagh and Allen Deed were slow to begin. Hawk Alone, Mepunga Hayley and Crackerjack Dak collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Allen Deed raced wide approaching the first turn. Hostile, Mepunga Hayley, Crackerjack Dak, Kiss Me Ketut and Mepunga Armagh collided on the first turn, severely checking Hawk Alone, Mepunga Hayley, My Bro Fabio and Allen Deed, causing Crackerjack Dak to fall. Hawk Alone and Mepunga Hayley collided approaching the home turn. Mepunga Hayley and Allen Deed collided approaching the winning post.
Crackerjack Dak was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a possible fracture to the left wrist, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
