Unova Bale and Opec Bale were slow to begin.  Greysynd Turbo checked off West On Delly soon after the start.  Unova Bale and Opec Bale collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Amaro Bale checked off Angel Of Music on the third turn.  In Canada and Opec Bale collided on the home turn.

Unova Bale was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to it's left wrist and right triangle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hashtag Selfie, Soul Maker and Gunloch were slow to begin.  Soul Maker and Blistering Bob collided soon after the start.  Soul Maker, Blistering Bob and Gunloch collided approaching the first turn checking Blistering Bob and Gunloch.  Hashtag Selfie and Red Superman collided on the first turn severely checking Hastag Selfie, Red Superman and Soul Maker.  Blistering Bob and Gunloch collided on the second turn.  Hashtag Selfie and Gunloch collided in the back straight checking Gunloch.  Red Superman checked off Gunloch approaching the third turn.

Hashtag Selfie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right triangle.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to Sky Channel commitments to Temora.

Bottom Dollar and Good Odds Punk were slow to begin.  Topper Road checked off King Surfa on the first turn.  Trail Blazing, Bottom Dollar and Sage Bale collided on the first turn checking Bottom Dollar and Good Odds Punk.  Trail Blazing checked off Sage Bale approaching the second turn.  Trail Blazing and Cheeky Hand collided in the back straight checking Cheeky Hand.  Cheeky Hand checked off Bottom Dollar entering the home straight.

Dyna Orion, Sunday Sess and Optimus Bart collided soon after the start checking Sunday Sess.  Echelonic Action and Dyna Orion collided approaching the first turn.  Echelonic Action, Go Jetta Go and Sunday Sess collided on the first turn checking Go Jetta Go and Sunday Sess.  Echelonic Action checked off Double Rinse approaching the second turn checking Go Jetta Go.  Echelonic Action and Go Jetta Go collided on the second turn checking Go Jetta Go.  Go Jetta Go and Sunday Sess collided on the fifth turn checking Sunday Sess.  Dyna Orion tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Go Jetta Go was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to it's left hind leg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Orion was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Dyna Orion regarding the greyhound's performance over the concluding stages of the event.  Mr. Dailly stated that it was the greyhound's first time over the 725metre distance.  Stewards noted his comments.

Lady Toy was slow to begin.  Du Plessis and Just Ducal collided soon after the start.  Starc, Slipaway Mavis and Julie Bale collided approaching the first turn severely checking Slipaway Mavis.  Zipping Casper checked off Du Plessis on the fifth turn.  Du Plessis checked off Lagoon Mytye approaching the home turn.  Lady Toy and Slipaway Mavis collided in the home straight checking Slipaway Mavis and Just Ducal.

Zipping Bruno and April Rose were slow to begin.  Ima Screw Loose and Lektra Outlaw collided soon after the start.  Kerrigan Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Polly Bale, Allen Eryk and Lektra Outlaw.  Zipping Bruno and April Rose collided on the first turn checking April Rose.  Ima Screw Loose checked off Lektra Outlaw approaching the second turn checking Polly Bale.  Zipping Bruno checked off Allen Eryk on the second turn.  Ima Screw Loose and Zipping Bruno collided entering the back straight checking Ima Screw Loose.  Zipping Bruno checked off Polly Bale approaching the home turn.  Allen Eryk checked off Polly Bale approaching the home turn checking April Rose.

Go Mobo and Hession Boots collided soon after the start.  Hession Boots and Shall She Rock collided approaching the first turn.  Kurzke crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Zelemar Diva which stumbled and checked Hession Boots and Shall She Rock as a result.  Kurzke  and Tick Bale collided on the first turn.  Go Mobo and Hession Boots on the home turn checking Tick Bale.

Dyna Yemen was slow to begin.  Crawf's Bread, Jordan Allen, Humphrey Bale and Skinny Vinnie collided approaching the first turn checking Humphrey Bale and severely checking Inga Bale and Peloton Bale; Peloton Bale raced wide as a result.  Humphrey Bale and Dyna Yemen collided approaching the second turn.  Crawf's Bread checked off Skinny Vinnie approaching the second turn checking Dyna Yemen and Jordan Allen.  Dyna Yemen, Skinny Vinnie, Empire Allen and Crawf's Bread collided approaching the third turn checking Skinny Vinnie, Empire Allen and Crawf's Bread.  Humphrey Bale and Empire Allen collided approaching the home turn.  Crawf's Bread and Jordan Allen collided on the home turn.  Jordan Allen checked off Humphrey Bale in the home straight.

Crawf's Bread was vetted following the event after a fall just past the winning post.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Peloton Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Inga Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Acola Rosebud was quick to begin.  Mimicking and Roethlisberger were slow to begin.  Zipping Joe and Roethlisberger collided soon after the start checking Roethlisberger.  Zipping Felix and Love Affair collided soon after the start.  Zipping Felix checked off Bailey Rose approaching the second turn.  Bailey Rose and Acola Rosebud collided on the second turn.  Acola Rosebud and Love Affair collided on the fifth turn checking Acola Rosebud.  Acola Rosebud and Roethlisberger collided entering the home straight.

Zipping Joe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. C. Schlensog, trainer of the greyhound He Isn't Really redeclared a new weight of 35.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  He Isn't Really last raced at 33.7kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from We Are Geelong.

He Isn't Really was slow to begin.  Bogner Bale and Premier Mozz collided approaching the first turn checking Premier Mozz.  Kid Maximus, Dyna Fancy and Frank Furter collided on the first turn.  He Isn't Really checked off Premier Mozz on the first turn.  Dyna Fancy, Frank Furter and Bogner Bale collided entering the back straight severely checking Frank Furter.  

Frank Furter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Maximus Glider was slow to begin.  Kicking Rocks and Zipping Tank collided soon after the start checking Zipping Tank.  Maximus Glider and Dyna Fulcrum collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Tank, Dyna Fulcrum and Maximus Glider collided on the first turn checking Zipping Tank and severely checking Dyna Fulcrum and Maximus Glider.  Hot Whirl checked off Dyna Glinda on the third turn.  Dyna Glinda and Kicking Rocks collided on the home turn checking Dyna Glinda and Hot Whirl.

Bordello Queen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right calf.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tekki Minx and Dyna Chaser were slow to begin.  Spring Spaniard and Evie Jane collided soon after the start checking Spring Spaniard.  Mahalo, Dyna Norfolk and Just A Taste collided on the first turn.  Just A Taste galloped on the heels of Scintillating approaching the second turn checking Scintillating.  Just A Taste, Evie Jane and Dyna Chaser collided in the back straight checking Evie Jane and Dyna Chaser.  Spring Spaniard and Scintillating collided entering the home straight checking Scintillating.  Evie Jane and Just A Taste collided in the home straight straight checking Just A Taste.  Just A Taste and Dyna Chaser collided in the home straight.
