Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mr. N. Groom did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Our Rascal was quick to begin. Potch was slow to begin.
Potch (marred Skye Patrol in the home straight) and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms. A. Hemingway regarding Potch’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Potch was charged with marring. Ms. Hemingway pleaded guilty to the charge. Potch is suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
