Steward's Report

A pre–race sample was taken from Reel Sweet.

Fire Ant, Kyanite Kaz and Reel Sweet were quick to begin.

Fire Ant fell on the first turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Reel Sweet was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left satorius muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ace Savvy mildly cramped following the running of the event, A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Corey Cas following the event and reminded him that the greyhound will be monitored for cramping in future events.

There was no front straight head on vision for this event.
