Love Me Now was slow to begin.
Spring Arlo and Tessa Orchid raced wide on the home turn. Sassy Skye raced wide in the home straight.
Bad Bailey, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
