The Judges inadvertantly semaphored the placings as 8 6 3 7, this was corrected to 8 6 5 7 prior to the all clear being given.

Charlie Image was slow to begin. Gift Of Time, Why Not Donna, Super Leggera and Amer Fort collided soon after the start checking Super Leggera. Gift Of Time and Super Leggera collided approaching the first turn checking Super Leggera. Amer Fort checked off Why Not Donna approaching the home turn.

Acca Believe It and Pass Of Time were quick to begin. Select What and Esperance Bay collided soon after the start. Acca Believe It and Pass Of Time collided soon after the start. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Howarth regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Sam's Pledge. Stewards directed that Sam's Pledge be boxed first in future events.

Mr G Long trainer of Mambo Thyme  redeclared a new weight of 31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mambo Thyme last raced at 30.4kg.

Splash Of White and Elusive Force collided approaching the first turn checking Darlyn Princess. Pawsative galloped on the heels of Darlyn Princess on the first turn checking Pawsative and checking Darlyn Princess which collided with Mambo Thyme. Darlyn Princess checked off Mambo Thyme approaching the home turn. Elusive Force and Jodie's Knee collided approaching the home turn checking Jodie's Knee.

Darlyn Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right thigh soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr J Donaldson handler of Alvie Flyer redeclared a new weight of 27.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Alvie Flyer last raced at 25.6kg.

Meeting Comments-

Due to the late arrival of the veterinary surgeon kennelling was extended, as a result the start time for race 1 was re-scheduled to 3.54pm.

Stewards issued a severe reprimand to Mr Gregory Carter after he was late in presenting his greyhounds, Why Not Franklin and Why Not Donna for kennelling.
