Wave Action was quick to begin. Zatmine was slow to begin. Miss Lilah and Moon And Back collided approaching the first turn, checking Miss Lilah; which contacted the running rail. Big Mannie, Zatmine and Black Brody collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Big Mannie raced wide on the first turn, checking Zatmine and Black Brody.

Our Blue Earner, Smashing Success and Platini were quick to begin. Dr. Hamish was slow to begin. Silvi Norris and Our Blue Earner collided approaching the first turn, checking Silvi Norris. Danyo's Frank raced wide on the first turn, checking Platini, Select Sanz and causing Platini to race wide. Abit Late and Select Sanz collided on the first turn, checking Select Sanz.

Danyo's Frank was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right pencil and left hamstring; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Scunitza Speed and Photo Bomber were slow to begin. Photo Bomber and Sandy Monelli collided on the first turn, checking Photo Bomber. Kyl's Me Mate crossed in approaching the home turn, checking Noaki Lynx, Zoltar and severely checking Sandy Monelli and Scunitza Speed. Cool Maxine and Zoltar collided in the home straight, checking Zoltar. Zoltar, Photo Bomber and Cool Maxine collided at the winning post.

A sample was taken from Kyl's Me Mate, the winner of the event. 

Bonjour Bonsoir and Incendiary were slow to begin. Vapour Lee and Dr. Taylor collided soon after the start, checking Bonjour Bonsoir. Vapour Lee, Dr. Taylor, Bela Safira and Incendiary collided on the first turn, checking Dr. Taylor, Incendiary, Bela Safira and causing Rampage Rhonda to race wide. Bonjour Bonsoir and Dr. Taylor collided approaching the second turn, checking Dr. Taylor and Bela Safira. Dr. Taylor and Incendiary collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Dr. Taylor. Bonjour Bonsoir and Dr. Cinnamon colldied entering the home straight. Bela Safira and Rampage Rhonda collided approaching the winning post.

Fourier Bale and Dr. Des collided soon after the start. Rex Best, Fourier Bale, Dr. Des and Darbain Dasher collided approaching the first turn, checking Rex Best and Dr. Des. Darbain Dasher and Zipping Spice collided on the first turn. Sam Harper and Fourier Bale collided approaching the second turn. Rex Best and Dr. Des collided entering the back straight. Sam Harper checked off Dr. Des entering the home straight. Fourier Bale and Amber Blaze collided approaching the winning post, checking Amber Blaze. 

Swans Twelve was slow to begin. Miss Society and Zambora Magic collided soon after the start. Newfire Riley and Zambora Magic collided on the first turn, checking Simply Elite and Miss Society. Velloway, Dyna Fulcrum and Newfire Riley collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Fulcrum, Newfire Riley and Swans Twelve. Simply Elite raced wide in the back straight, checking Miss Society. Miss Society eased approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, checking Simply Elite.

Miss Society was vetted and revetted following event 8. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right triangle soreness; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Miss Society with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  J. Imlach pleaded guilty to the charge, Miss Society was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Zambora Magic, Mr. G. Whitford regarding the greyhounds improved performance this evening. Mr. Whitford stated that the greyhound was in free for all class in NSW and that the greyhound had been upgraded to Grade 4 events throughout Victoria, he also mentioned that the greyhound had been racing without any luck and that he had a high opinion of the greyhound. Stewards asked if he has supported the greyhound this evening, Mr. Whitford said that he did not back the greyhound. Stewards excepted his explination and directed that samples be taken from Zambora Magic, the winner of the event.

Canino was slow to begin. Magic Salmon and Classified Miss collided soon after the start, checking Classified Miss. Flywheel Special, Magic Salmon and Classified Miss collided on the first turn, checking Flywheel Special. Dr. Waugh, Addictive Alpha and Ima River Boy collided on the first turn, checking Ima River Boy. Rockabilly King and Canino collided on the first turn, checking Canino which raced wide. Magic Salmon and Rockabilly King collided on the first turn, checking Rockabilly King and severely checking Flywheel Special.

Magic Salmon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left triangle soreness; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tommy El, Kingston Regal and Coulta Mayham were slow to begin. Tommy El, Maddie Gari and Noisemaker collided on the first turn, checking Noisemaker. Coulta Mayham checked off Noisemaker on the first turn. Kingston Regal checked off Towbar Teddy approaching the second turn. Coulta Mayham and Towbar Teddy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhound's. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. Teisha Smyth and issued her with a severe reprimand after to she failed to catch the greyhound Noisemaker in this event.

W. Duve, trainer of Conclave redeclared a new weight of 36.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Conclave last raced at 34.8kg.

Mr. Heist Guy was quick to begin. Twistex, Senor Gold and Conclave were slow to begin. Tequila Sun and Tornado Angel collided soon after the start. Audreana, Tequila Sun and Tornado Angel collided soon after the start, checking Tequila Sun. Twistex, Audreana and Tornado Angel collided approaching the first turn. Audreana and Tornado Angel collided on the first turn, checking Tornado Angel. Mr. Heist Guy and Crowdza Chanting collided in the home straight. Twistex and Tequila Sun raced wide in the home straight.

Sootette, Zipping Electra and Loretta collided soon after the start, checking Loretta. Money To Burn checked off My Wish approaching the home turn. Spotted Cruiser checked off Money To Burn approaching the home turn, checking Spotted Cruiser, Loretta and severely checking Sootette; causing Sootette to fall. Loretta and Spotted Cruiser collided in the home straight.

Sootette was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a graze to the right wrist; no stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Obey, the winner of the event. 

Daisy Dop was a late scratching at 5:16pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Go Zeppa was quick to begin. Full Of Grace and Bassyappa were slow to begin. Atomic Beach and Koko Kola collided soon aftre the start. Full Of Grace, Atomic Beach and Koko Kola collided several times approaching the ifrst turn, checking Atomic Beach. Dr. Ezechiel galloped on Dr. Thanos on the first turn, checking Dr. Thanos. Atomic Beach and Bassyappa collided entering the home straight.

Chief, Brooklyn Cruiser and Midnight Reign were slow to begin. Midnight Reign and Creative Azzam collided soon after the start, checking Midnight Reign. Chief and Hopetoun Dreams collided approaching the home turn, checking Chief and severely checking Hopetoun Dreams and Bubble Which. Corrine and Creative Azzam collided on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Wayward Wind, Mr. F. Vassallo regarding the greyhounds improved performance this evening. Mr. Vassallo stated that the greyhound was given a short spell after it's last start and the greyhound had recently been trialling well and with a clear run tonight she was able to perform as she did. Stewards asked Mr. Vassallo if he supported the greyhound this evening, Mr. Vassallo said he did not back the greyhound. Stewards excepted his explination and directed that samples be taken from Wayward Wind, the winner of the event.
