Turanza Magic was slow to begin. Hot And Lonesome, Team Player and Delta Queen collided on the first turn. Hot And Lonesome and Delta Queen collided approaching the home turn checking How Time Fly's. Delta Queen and Turanza Magic collided in the home straight.
Why Not Beau was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Harding, trainer of the greyhound Why Not Beau regarding the greyhound's poor performance in this event. Mr. Harding stated that he intends to keep the greyhound in work with the view of racing in lesser class events. Stewards noted his explanation, and placed a warning against the greyhound's racing manners with respect to its perfomance in today's event.
