Thunder Flame was slow to begin.  Vee For Vegas and Aristotle Bale collided soon after the start checking Aristotle Bale and Bounty.  Polished Steel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Rusty Puzzle and Survivor Sal.  Survivor Sal, Mahalo, Vee For Vegas and Bounty collided approaching the first turn checking Survivor Sal, Bounty and Mahalo.  Vee For Vegas checked off Rusty Puzzle on the first turn.  Mahalo checked off Rusty Puzzle approaching the second turn checking Bounty and Vee For Vegas.

The finishing numbers 6-3-10-1 were inadvertently displayed on the semaphore board before being changed by the judges to the correct numbers 6-10-3-1 before the 'All Clear" was given.

Tantrum Tommy was slow to begin.  Black Superman and In This Way collided soon after the start.  Tangible and Unther Bale collided soon after the start.  In This Way, Tangible and Unther Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Tangible and Unther Bale.  Lady Deedee and Black Superman collided on the first turn.  In This Way and Tantrum Tommy collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Tangible and Unther Bale collided on the second turn.  Tangible checked off Unther Bale in the back straight.  In This Way checked off Unther Bale approaching the home turn.  Lady Deedee and Quarrel Bale collided entering the home straight.

Tricky Rose was slow to begin.  Tricky Rose checked off Kerrigan Bale approaching the first turn.  Spring Collete, Jaunty Bale and Kerrigan Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Jaunty Bale.  Tricky Rose and Wattle Grove collided on the first turn checking Wattle Grove.  Spring Collete and Kerrigan Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Tricky Rose.  Spring Collete and Jaunty Bale collided approaching the third turn checking Jaunty Bale. Kerrigan Bale and Galloping Rocky collided approaching the home turn.  Wattle Grove checked off Tricky Rose entering the home straight.

Sugar Lips and Watch My Path were slow to begin.  Spa Cheang, Crafty Maisy, Sugar Lips and Watch My Path collided soon after the start checking Crafty Maisy, Sugar Lips and Watch My Path.  Wayfarer, Spa Cheang, Smiley Sam, College Queen and Crackerjack Babe collided approaching the first turn checking Spa Cheang, Crackerjack Babe and Smiley Sam, severely checking Watch My Path, College Queen and Crafty Maisy.  Crackerjack Babe checked off Sugar Lips on the second turn checking Spa Cheang and Smiley Sam, severely checking College Queen.  Crackerjack Babe checked off Watch My Path entering the home straight. 

Balyang Grinder, Dyna Chaser and Peragon Falcon were slow to begin.  Sage Bale, Dyna Chaser and Peragon Falcon collided soon after the start.  Udon Bale, Quasi Bale and Balyang Grinder collided soon after the start.  Balyang Grinder and Diva's Shadow collided approaching the first turn checking Peragon Falcon.  Quasi Bale and Dyna Chaser collided on the second turn.  Dyna Chaser checked off Quasi Bale in the back straight.  Udon Bale and Quasi Bale collided on the third turn checking Dyna Chaser.  Dyna Chaser, Peragon Falcon and Balyang Grinder collided on the home turn.

Big Kat was slow to begin.  Mystic Twist crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Zipping Joe and Beks.  Blinker's On checked off Double Rinse approaching the first turn checking Big Kat.  Oscar De Largo checked off Beks on the first turn.  Beks checked off Coulta Rock on the home turn checking Zipping Joe.

Zipping Bart, Dyna Orion, Bazza's Gift and Echelonic Action were slow to begin.  Go Mobo and See Him First collided entering the front straight.  See Him First and Dyna Orion collided on the second turn.  Echelonic Action checked off Bazza's Gift entering the home straight.

Gorham Bale was slow to begin.  Crackerjack Dak crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bremer, Highbury, Spring Leaf, Gorham Bale and Dyna Ostrander.  Dyna Ostrander checked off Crackerjack Dak approaching the first turn.  Gorham Bale checked off Allen Eryk on the first turn.  Highbury and Spring Leaf collided on the first turn.  Spring Leaf checked off Bremer on the second turn.  Dyna Ostrander and Humphrey Bale collided approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds.  Highbury raced wide on the home turn.  Bremer and Dyna Ostrander collided entering the home straight checking Spring Leaf and Dyna Ostrander.  Gorham Bale and Allen Eryk collided in the home straight.

Gemstar crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Rockin'Josie, Bianca Bale, Blonde Oasis and Bunga Bunga.  Bianca Bale, Bunga Bunga and Julie Bale collided on the first turn.  Bianca Bale checked off Pobblebonk approaching the second turn checking Julie Bale.  Bianca Bale and Julie Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Bianca Bale, Julie Bale and Blonde Oasis.  Bianca Bale, Blonde Oasis and Julie Bale collided entering the back straight checking Bianca Bale and Julie Bale.  Rockin'Josie and Julie Bale collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  

Bianca Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle and right calf muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Peter Pettigrew, Mermaid Millie and Caustic Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Mermaid Millie.  Peter Pettigrew and Caustic Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Peter Pettigrew and Caustic Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Bendis Bale, Peter Pettigrew and Caustic Bale.  Peter Pettigrew and Mermaid Millie collided in the back straight.

Classy Boy and Magneto Bale were slow to begin.  Lektra Outlaw and Hogganaught collided soon after the start checking Hogganaught and Lagoon Mytye. Lagoon Mytye checked off Classy Boy in the back straight.  Hogganaught checked off Magneto Bale in the back straight.  Loves It lost ground on the home turn and collided with Classy Boy and Magneto Bale as a result.

Laurie's Chance and Gunloch were slow to begin.  Scanez Cee and Laurie's Chance collided approaching the first turn checking Laurie's Chance.  Scanez Cee and Enchanted Bling collided on the first turn checking Enchanted Bling.  Laurie's Chance and Gunloch collided on the home turn.  Enchanted Bling checked off Laurie's Chance approaching the winning post.

Meeting Comments

Stewards this evening reconvened an inquiry that had been adjourned at Geelong Racing Club on 17th October 2014, regarding the lateness of Mr Ricky Coleman to prepare the greyhound, Dodgy Dealer, for Race 9 at Geelong.  Mr Coleman attended this reconvened inquiry with his mother, Mrs D. Coleman. After enquiring into the matter, Stewards charged Mr Coleman with abreach of GAR 46(2).  Mr Coleman pleaded guilty.  Mr Coleman was found guilty and fined the sum of $50.
