MEETING COMMENTS:
Track curator C Hiscock advised Stewards that the track was medium harrowed on Thursday 9 October.
Dr. Taylor was slow to begin. Soul Maker and Lister Bale collided soon after the start. Sam Toocan and Lister Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Lister Bale which collided with African Storm, Lister Bale stumbled as a result. Dr. Taylor and Lister Bale collided on the first turn checking Lister Bale which collided with Bonjour Bonsoir. Sam Toocan and Proven Bolt collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dr. Taylor and Lister Bale collided on the home turn.
Lister Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and shoulder, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
