Steward's Report
Audenzia and Pirates Patch were slow to begin. Pirates Patch raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Pirates Patch (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Malcolm Davis regarding the racing manners of Pirates Patch on the home turn. Mr Davis advised that the greyhound Pirates Patch will be retired, Stewards took no further action.
Missy Ha Ha underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the left dew claw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
