Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Fuller Ability.
Perfect Star and Fuller Ability were quick to begin. Banana Joe was slow to begin.
Banana Joe (severely checked approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Thomas Boehmke regarding the racing manners of Banana Joe on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Boehmke, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Jetson Express (fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right shin soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
