Piranha Shake – Late scratching at 10:30am by Order of Stewards, pursuant to GAR 90(3).
A pre-race sample was taken from Leave Me In.
Heavy Metal was quick to begin. Funky Faun was slow to begin.
Leave Me In, contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion under the left eye. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Was A Soldier, underwent a post–race veterinary examination, at the trainers request, and was found to have a right stifle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
