Steward's Report
Go Go Daisy and Time Turner were quick to begin. Emolga Bale was slow to begin.
Emolga Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. Emolga Bale was found to have a bite mark on the right hind achilles area. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
One Spark – Ordered to wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 131. Stewards questioned licensed participant, Ms C. Blacker in relation to the catching of One Spark following the event. After taking evidence from Ms. Blacker, Stewards reminded Ms. Blacker of her responsibilities when handling greyhounds in the catching pen. In assessing the matter, Stwards took into full consideraton the cirumstances involving the behaviour of One Spark in the catching pen.
