Market Magic was quick to begin. Louisiana Reef was slow to begin.
Rocket Ralph (checked and stumbled approaching the winning post, lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr D.Petersen regarding the racing manners of Rocket Ralph. After hearing submissions from Mr Petersen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Jake Scar (checked approaching the winning post and fell after the line) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
