Steward's Report
Ziggy Boy was slow to begin.
La Lina turned head inward at the 200m mark and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7 – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Stavros Kipirtidis regarding La Lina’s racing manners at the 200m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 La Lina was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Kipirtidis pled guilty to the charge, La Lina was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
