Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Hurricane Daisy upon arrival at the course.
Hurricane Daisy was quick to begin. Darnum Fox and Runway were slow to begin.
Inter Trigon raced awkwardly on the home turn. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind foot abrasion. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Tony Interligi regarding the racing manners of Inter Trigon on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Interligi, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Starlight Roy was severely checked and subsequently stumbled. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
