Home Town and Evening Stagger were quick to begin. Aston Breeze was slow to begin.
All Done Up - Turned its head outwards entering the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr.Scott James regarding All Done Up's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, All Done Up was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr James pleaded guilty to the charge. All Done Up was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
