Steward's Report
McIvor Jack – Late scratching at 11:11am when Mrs. Julie Priest reported the greyhound to have a shoulder injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mr. Scott Manning did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Potch and It's Luigi were slow to begin. Blue Bale stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Blue Bale (stumbled soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Coffee Buddies - the winner of the event.
Satisfactory Trial:
Runnin' On Empty – 6 months – Solo, Distance: 425m, Weight: 30.2kg, Box 1, Time Run 24.719 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks.
Runnin' On Empty – New declared weight of 30.2kg, last raced at 29.1kg.
