Steward's Report
Especial Blonde – Late scratching at 12:49 when Ms. Elise Knott reported the greyhound to have a back muscle injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Viking.
Upper's Flyer and Viking were slow to begin. Panama Parade was very slow to begin.
Our Lulu, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Jennifer Gieschen regarding the racing manners of Our Lulu entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Gieschen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
