Steward's Report
Captain Bender was quick to begin.
River Matt, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right biceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr N Bischard regarding River Matt's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, River Matt was charged with marring. Mr N Bischard pleaded not guilty to the charge. River Matt was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Super Emma – Marring – Field of 4, Distance: 390m, Weight: 27.2 kg, Box 3, Placed 1st, Time Run 22.57 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks.
