Steward's Report
Borough Banker was slow to begin.
Aston Record (severely checked in the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Aston Record was found to have a right hock injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Silver Mack (racing manners in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. David Burnett regarding the racing manners of Silver Mack in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Burnett, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards were of the opinion that Gogo Skye shifting up the track contributed to Silver Mack becoming unbalanced. Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Borough Banker - the winner of the event.
