Steward's Report
Teo's Girl – Late scratching at 16:44 due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms Kate Gorman was fined $100.
Wild Jazz was quick to begin. Blue Chaser and Dr. Dylan were slow to begin.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a bird (Magpie) was positioned on the track in the home straight. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.
A post-race sample was taken from Wild Jazz - the winner of the event in a new track record time of 24.030.
