Steward's Report
Daintree Chief was quick to begin, Spicy Machete and Something Clever were slow to begin.
Bang On Blue underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Susan Richards regarding the racing manners of Bang On Blue on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Richards, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Darnum Diesel the winner of the event.
There was no head on vision available in the home straight.
