Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Maximum Moreland.
Lottie Intention was quick to begin. Vega Black was slow to begin.
Maximum Moreland (eased approaching the winning post) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Jordan Cooper regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Maximum Moreland was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cooper pleaded guilty to the charge. Maximum Moreland must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
