Challis Candy (beaten favourite) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr J.Larkin, the Handler of Challis Candy, after the greyhound performed below market expectations. Stewards noted Mr Larkin’s explanation and took no further action.
A post–race sample was taken from Quilla Reef – the winner of the event.
