Steward's Report
Matriarch and Little Alfie were slow to begin.
Hurricane Julie faltered turning off the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Tony Interligi regarding the racing manners of Inter Rogue in the home straight. After hearing submissions from representative Mr. Interligi, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the back straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
No head on vision was available in the home straight for this event.
