Meeting Comments:
Baggio – In accordance with GAR 41(5), presented for a re–vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Healesville on 25 February 2024. Baggio was examined by the On–Track Veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Baggio was cleared to race. A sample was taken from Baggio in accordance with GAR 136, having been presented for the purpose of revoking a stand down period (re–vet).

Blue Kermaro, Jenny Bale and Hibiki Blue were quick to begin.
Hibiki Blue raced wide soon after the start.
Zipping Kai (contacted the inside rail turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left-hind webbing. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stapleton (contacted the inside rail turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Blue Kermaro - the winner of the event.
