This event was resheduled to start at 7:16pm.
A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Royal Gypsy, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Reiko Slater, Fabs Vegetables and Royal Gypsy were slow to begin.
Highly Alert (checked and faltered on the first turn) underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
