Steward's Report
Lakeview Jan was quick to begin. Ada's Eyes was slow to begin.
Ada's Eyes visibly eased soon after the start and subsequently tailed off. Ada's Eyes underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr Tony Cortese declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr Cortese regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Ada's Eyes was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Cortese pleaded guilty to the charge. Ada's Eyes was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
